Chennai has several apartment complexes that are coming up. With so many choices and so many different sizes to choose from, it would be very easy to get confused.

Apartment for Sale in Chennai said an ad. And seeing the ad, I go take a close look at that, to realise that it is just a block of 24 apartments, built so close to each other. While the developer was citing the advantage of the proximity to Bus Stands, Metro Stations etc, all I could see was congestion, pollution, dust and lots of grime.

But then, I said am I living a pipe dream of living in a house that is surrounded by greenery yet within the city? Where will my elderly parents and my young children feel secure when both my wife and I are away at work? So, we decided that we need to pick a gated community.

Security was one of the factors of not moving far away from the city, to the suburbs to buy a new apartment. While I was sure to find a home with all my specs, in a gated community, the sheer travel time, the amenities within the apartment and in the neighbourhood, the locality was all damper.

That’s when I discovered SPR City. From the moment I stepped into the SPR City site for a site visit, I was drooling.

Then we all visited the school. The Shri Ram Universal school. I had heard about The Shri Ram Group of Institutions and I thought they were present only in Delhi. I was surprised to see them in Chennai too.
